We landed in Nice after 15 hours in the air, and before we'd even found the exit, Yoann's WhatsApp arrived: "Your driver Marc is at Door 3, holding a sign with your name. Welcome to France." That's how all 19 days went. We never queued for a ferry, hunted for a taxi or wondered if a restaurant was any good. Our skipper on the yacht day was a friend of Yoann's, the perfumer in Grasse already knew our taste, and Monaco had a table waiting at lunch. When our child felt unwell in Antibes, their local contact found an English-speaking doctor right away, and when it rained, we had a new plan by breakfast. All we did was enjoy it, right up to the Eiffel Tower sparkling on our last night.
